Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments: What have you been up to since you graduated?

I attended U.C. Davis, Cabrillo College, U.C.S.C and studied in Art and Anthropology.
I moved to Maui in 1982 and have enjoyed life here working and
living the island life. I learned to dance the Hula for "Auntie Emma"
and the cultural histories that are the heart of the islands.
I donated a lot of time with the Lahaina Yacht Club's community
events for 26 years as a member.
I also traveled around the world before it became more complex to travel.

School Story: (Have a favorite school story? Funny memory? This can be used for anything you'd like to share.)

I was in chemistry class with Mr. Mac Garvey and accidently lit my
bunsen burner at the source. I thought that was it for our school,
and I would have to leave town. He said not to worry that there
was some sort of back-up valve.

What do you do for fun?

Relax and appreciate the beauty of the islands.

Who was your favorite High School teacher? Why?

Mr. Mac Garvey: He was so kind, when I thought that I had
impacted the chemistry lab.

What was your favorite class? What was your least favorite class?

Modern Dance; Art; English Literature were my favorites.

I liked all my classes.

Aloha Drew, The last time I saw you was a few light years ago. My friend Vicki and I
stopped by the fire station in our Halloween costumes on our way out. Unfortunately,
I found out the Reunion a little late and will miss all the fun. Aloha Valerie

Aloha Bill,
Thank you for setting up this web-site. I never thought that I could reconnect with the
ethers, as I have been in Hawaii for the last 33 years.
In answer to your question. My home away from home is Dolphin Galleries. The location
for the one I work in is at Whaler's Village in the Kaanapali Resort area on Maui. We are across from the Louis Vuitton store.
I am glad that you are living a happy life.
I am the last dinosaur in the cyber-land. I am amazed that I got set-up on your web-site.
Thank you for making it easy. I'm off for the next couple of days, so someone can help
me post a photo.
Aloha Nui Loa, Valerie

Aloha Valerie! It's great to reconnect with you. Where on Maui is your gallery? We visit occasionally and love to peruse the art galleries. I wish you could make it to the reunion! Please put some "Hawaiian" photos of your life in Maui ! It's fun to learn about what each other and what we've been up to for the last 50 years or so! Mahalo! Aloha bill

On 8-14-15 Ben Ragsac came in to Dolphin Gallery where I work and recognized me. He
told me about the Reunion and the web site. I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend -
sounds like a lot of fun. I was lost, but now I'm found. I was so touched that anyone would
remember me after 50 years. Time flies when we are having so much fun. Photo to follow.

Aloha, Valerie
