Survived by brother Ed Janus. Ed used to work at Nob Hill in Capitola, but I haven't seen him in years. I just tecall him telling me his brother John had passed away. John was on the honor roll and always involved in class activities. I'm thinking he might have been class president at one time. He was a good friend and a lot of fun to be around. Mike

John Janus was our senior class president. I ran against John and lost by a few votes. I realized that this loss for me was a gain for the class and for John. My platform was more about the social world and John was really focused on making the Class of 1965 the best it could be. We became good friends and I saw a person with a great heart and with a vision. Despite being opponents during the election we became very good friends and I was a better person for knowing John.
