Jim and I were friends since elementary school. I remember Jim pitching for the Freedom Boosters with Gregg Trier. Jim had a good "fast" ball and he hit a lot of homers which was good for the Boosters but not so good for my team the Mehl's Yankees. We played them for the little league championship. Great memories. When we were in high school we both had the same year of car, 1958 Ford. Except, Jim had a bigger motor and he loved that his car was faster.
Jim was always smiling and when we ran into each he always brightened my day. Although, we didn't spend a lot of time together in high school we still remained good friends. Thanks for the great memories of elementary school , playing baseball, marbles, (he was a great shot and won many of my marbles) and comparing our cars. I will miss you my friend but I still have fond memories of our friendship. Thanks, Bill.
