I attended Aptos School in the 7th & 8th grades & Nancy was among several girls I became friends with in class & in Girl Scouts.  In addition to sharing names, our Dad's were pilots in Civilian Air Transport during WWII.  I recall when we visited each other our Dad's would sit & visit together.  My Dad lived in Rio Del Mar during the War & was acquainted with many folks in Aptos....I'm guessing he knew Nancy's Dad for many years.  High School changed a lot of us....Nancy became very fashionable & "popular!"  I became more shy & unapproachable, yet she always had a laugh & a smile for me when we met in the halls of Watsonvile HS.  I was sorry to hear of her passing....I believe she lived in the North West & was married with several children.
