It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of our dear friend and classmate Diana "Weaver" Diana Cuddeford. Diana had been a great asset to our "Class of 65" for many years. She was responsible for all of the displays for the past reunions including the Life size Willie the Wildcat display. She also attended the Reunion planning meetings and carried out many tasks to the benefit of our class.
We offer condolences to her husband, Jason Cuddeford (class of 65) and her beautiful family! You will be always in our hearts and minds Diana Weaver .

Diana June Cuddeford, a native and lifelong resident of Watsonville, passed away peacefully at
her home on August 27, 2025. She was 78.
Diana was born on June 1, 1947, in Watsonville, to her proud parents, Henry Owen Weaver, Sr.,
and June Vanness McDaris. She attended local schools and after graduating from Watsonville
High School, she went on to Cabrillo College, majoring in Art. It was during this time that she met
and married the love of her life, Robert Jason Cuddeford. Together, they raised their 3 children
and shared many wonderful years until her passing.
In keeping with her love for all things art related, her career included being a jewelry designer for
many years and then went on to become a cake baker and decorator, retiring from the
Albertson’s bakery department. She was a giving person, volunteering for many years at the
Santa Cruz County Fair. In her free time, she loved gardening. She spent many hours in her
beloved garden, tending to her father’s prize-winning roses.
Diana is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert Jason Cuddeford, her loving
children, Kenneth, Kari, and Kraig Cuddeford, and her grandchildren, Iziah, Tyler, and Ryan
Cuddeford, whom she adored. She also leaves behind her siblings, Janis Weaver Schell, Sandra
Darlene Weaver, and Henry Owen (Susanna) Weaver, Jr. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Henry and June Weaver, and her brother-in-law, Larry Dennis Schell.
Diana was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed deeply by
her family and many friends.
Future memorial services to be determined.
