I remember Cheryl McCallum from Aptos School like it was yesterday. A bit wild, a bit wacky, but everyones friend. She was always smiling and loved to talk. A free spirit in every sense of the word. We cared about her and worried about her, even back in grade school. I don't know much about her personal life, but at elementary school, she was one of those people you knew you'd never forget. I hope you've received your angel wings, Free Spirit, and are soaring above us, still smiling, still laughing and looking down on all the friends who knew and loved you. I hope you've found peace at last, my unforgettable friend.
