Missing Classmates: Harold, Terri, and Carm have sent numerous letters and notices to addresses they found via searches for classmates that were not on the web site. Every week more people join and we know there more who are aware of the web site and reunion. No additional mailers planned. Registration forms for those not on the web can be obtained from Harold.
Website: If you’re having trouble registering on the web site, please contact Bill Probert, he can help. There is a massive amount of content on the web site. Thanks to all that post content, you make it more interesting.
It was decided by the committee that there will be a No Pay at the Door Policy and the deadline to register is August 1st, 2015. REGISTRATION IS ONLY CONFIRMED BY A PAY PAL (credit card) PAYMENT OR A CHECK RECEIVED BY JIM LOPES. WE’RE AT 60% CAPACITY FOR SATURDAY NIGHT.
Teachers: The following teachers are being invited with invitations extended by the classmate following the teacher’s name. When the teacher has accepted, please let Bill Probert know, along with the number of guests.

Mora: Ron Benich attended the meeting. Mora will participate with memorabilia and other items. Their class rep will coordinate with Diana and Cindy on decorations.
Class Scholarship: A subcommittee of Amy Newell, and Jim Lopes is exploring and defining the idea. Tabled to next meeting.
Memorabilia: Committee reports they are collecting and pasting memorabilia to project boards. Anyone wishing to provide memorabilia, please contact Janelle.
Name Tags – The committee voted to use the picture nametags, Nancy DePuy‘s great creations, for Saturday night only. Nancy will prepare hand written nametags for Friday’s event.
9/18/15, Friday 10:00 AM, Seascape Golf: Capacity is around 40.
Currently 19 registered.
9/18/15 Friday 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, “Kickoff Rally” reception: An anonymous group of classmates is sponsoring this event, beer and wine is included. We’ll have plenty of food. Dress casual and bring your dancing shoes. We will announce the golf awards plus we have several surprises planned for the attendees. You’ll want to be at this event to greet old friends and makes plans for the weekend. At $15 per person, this is a bargain.
Diana Cuddeford and Cindy Welch are working on the decorations and tables. We’ll need volunteers on the 18th to set up.

9/19/15 Saturday 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM, 50th Year Reunion Dinner/Dance, Watsonville High School Class of 1965
Registration table and decorations are covered.
Nancy Putnam Carroll will check on appetizers and confirm menu. Appetizers budgeted at $6 per person.
Entertainment committee is developing quizzes, antidotes, live entertainment from classmates. Carm has a “Name that Tune” game. Homework: Read the content on the web site, you will be quizzed. Prizes will be awarded.
Currently 119 registered.
9/20/15 Sunday Brunch – No organized event.
The committee has decided not to organize a formal brunch but rather leave it to classmates to arrange amongst themselves.
ANDREA AVILA DEAN WILL CONTACT THE SENTINEL, RP AND SAN JOSE MERCURY TO POST AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF OUR REUNION.
WE A BLOCK OF ROOMS AT THE SEA CLIFF INN BUT IT EXPIRES ON JUNE 18TH. THOSE COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN SHOULD REMEMBER THE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY FAIR AND ANOTHER WHS REUNION ARE THAT WEEKEND. BOOK NOW.
