Ron Sexton

 

Obituary

Ronald Sexton, 76, was born on February 27, 1947, in Watsonville, CA, the son of Bert Sexton and Laurice (Rainey) Sexton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Ron lived in the Hugo area his entire life. In his younger years, Ron and his father owned and operated Sexton’s Body Shop in Hugo. He was a proud Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War in 1965. He later drove trucks hauling lumber for several years for Daryl Thomason Trucking. Ron married his loving wife, Vernie, on June 18, 1981, in Paris, Tx and together they had a wonderful life raising their children. Ron was a good cook and enjoyed grilling and cooking for his grandkids and he loved his dogs. He was an avid football fan; the 49ers and Cowboys were his favorite teams. Ron enjoyed being retired and being home with his wife. Most of all, Ron loved to spend time with his family and his grandkids were his world. His passing has left a void in his family’s lives and they will miss him greatly.

 

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Vernie Sexton; son, James Fosdick; daughters, Stephani Coleman and husband, Ricky, Crystal Babcock and husband, Robert, and Lynn Davis; grandchildren, Ashlyn Lane, Amber Lane, Ty Butler and wife, Tatum, Cody Babcock, Crystan Babcock, Chelsea Kibby, Colton Kibby, John Paul Hagger, Elizabeth Carter, Elijah Davis, J.T. Fosdick, Dillon Fosdick and Shelbie Fosdick; numerous great grandchildren and sister, Linda Clark, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
