After HS attended Cabrillo. 1968 drafted into Army. Served in Vietnam 1968-1969. First Infantry APC unit as APC driver then 50 gunner. Fortunately I came home unscathed physically, but mentally depressed (ptsd). I met a beautiful woman in 1971 and we got married in 1972. Stayed in Watsonville. We moved our second home to Sun City, Indio. I enjoy my grand children who live in Palm Springs. I try to play golf when I can and basically take life one day at time, enjoying every minute of it. I still see a lot of friends from high school, though some are from other classes. I will get more of our classmates to come to the reunion.

School Story: (Have a favorite school story? Funny memory? This can be used for anything you'd like to share.)

Hi Virgil,
Pete’s family home was on E. Lake Ave in town, so, he was a National Leaguer, played for the Elks Dodgers as I recall.

Hey Virgil,
I recognized some of the yankee players : on your right was Dick Clark on your left was me . Alan Bongiovoni left of me.
Left of Bongiovoni is an unknown player to me. On his left was Alan Yamamoto then John Radich. Behind John off his left shoulder was Jerry Coffelt, and on Jerry’s right stood Charlie Cannon, then Bill Probert and another unknown on Bill’s right. John Blythe (?) stood next to Victor then Scott Trier and another mystery player next to Scott. Coach Mr (Frank) Coffelt in the back row on the left and the great hall of fame manager Mr. Dick Clark on the right. Gary Wilson and Henry Isumasaki and Ken Mehl were also team members, but not pictured. That’s about all I can tell you from the picture, except that as I recall, the Yankees were a great bunch of kids and a tribute to their parents. Take care,
Gary @ Lake Fork

John Radich came across this photo.
I’m thinking we were about 10 or 11.
